This small design, measuring around 10 centimetres harks back to my early days of drawing as a child when all I had was a bottle of black ink and a dip pen! I drew this design recently when I was away from home with few art materials.

To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour..

Pyro-Art Piece 'In the Middle we Dance'
This eight centimetre Applewood slice was just right for my latest design, which takes inspiration from a wonderful. evocative verse by Rumi -
'We came whirling out of nothingness, scattering stars like dust.
The stars made a circle and in the middle we dance.'
