To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour..

'The Woods' Small watercolour design with verse
This little watercolour painting, measuring approx 12 x 12cm is inspired by the beautiful Derbyshire hills and woodlands where I live and often walk.
The verse needs to be read from the bottom upwards :
'Over green velvet hills, in the sun, let us run..
To the woods and the trees, dancing leaves, may we come..
Amongst birds in the endless blue sky shall we fly..

Combined Watercolour painting and Pyrography Art Pieces
In January 2013 I posted a piece entitled 'Pyrography v traditional drawing - the battle is on!' in which I spoke about my attempts to balance the time spent on these two different creative processes, and of the popularity with my followers of my pyrography work over my traditional drawings.
Well since then I have continued to practice and enjoy creating art using these different mediums and have recently been experimenting with ways of combining pyrography and waterclour painting to create more unusual and unique pieces.
Here are some examples of my recent combined creations..
